Touch film is a transparent film that can accurately perceive the touch of human hand across the substrate (referring to non-metallic substrate, including glass, acrylic, wood, plastic, etc.). It is the core component of the precise positioning device such as the touch screen, which mainly solves the problem of accurate touch positioning. It consists of PET film (polyethylene terephthalate, a transparent flexible plastic that is resistant to high temperature and corrosion), nanowires (referring to ultra-fine wires sintered by metal nanoparticles), control circuit boards and driving software.
Nanowires of X axis and Y axis are encapsulated in PET film by digital packaging automation equipment in accordance with certain rules, so as to form an induction matrix. Each matrix unit is a proximity sensor capable of sensing touch action in different directions. These matrix units form a holographic touch induction matrix. The sensing signal is input to the control chip by the touch induction matrix, and then the control chip eliminates the noise and transmits the effective touch signal to the upper driver software, so as to achieve accurate positioning, trigger action and realize the touch function.
The induction principle of the nano touch film belongs to the improved projective capacitance principle. ITO layer (indium tin oxide, which is often needed in the manufacturing process of capacitive touch screen and LCD screen) is replaced by the nano wire layer, and the signal changes are accurately calculated through a high-precision measurement algorithm. The nano touch film without ITO layer is one of the main characteristics different from other projective capacitive touch screens.
