Capacitive touch screen multi-touch technology principle:


Capacitive touch screen through the glass screen coated with a transparent film conductor layer (such as ITO, that is, nano indium tin metal oxide), and in the conductor layer plus a piece of protective glass, forming a double-glass design to protect the conductor layer and the inductor. This thin film conductor layer and the human body between the electric field can form a coupling capacitance. When the finger or other conductive objects touch the screen, will change the capacitance value of this coupling capacitance, thus triggering the response of the touch screen.


To achieve multi-touch, capacitive touch screen needs to increase the mutual capacitance of the electrode. Specifically, the screen is divided into chunks, and in each region to set up a set of mutual capacitance module, these modules are working independently. When multiple fingers touch the screen at the same time, each touch point will affect the coupling capacitance between the electrodes in its vicinity, thus changing the capacitance between these electrodes.
