Customized touch screen cover lens

What functions can a touchscreen glass cover plate have, or what treatments can it undergo?

(1) Scratch resistance: This is to prevent the glass from being scratched. The harder the glass, the less likely it is to be scratched by keys, coins, or other rough objects. Scratch-resistant glass keeps your screen looking brand new and clear for a long time.

(2) Durability: This refers to the glass's ability to withstand wear and tear over time. Durable glass not only resists shattering but also withstands daily bumps and knocks, ensuring your screen remains safe.

(3) Clarity: High-quality cover glass is crystal clear, ensuring everything on the screen appears sharp and distinct. Good clarity means vibrant colors and crisp images, making everything you do on your device more enjoyable.

(4) Surface Treatment:

Anti-Glare (AG): This treatment reduces glare from sunlight or strong light, making it easier to see the screen in bright conditions.

Anti-Reflective (AR): AR coating minimizes reflections on the screen, reduces eye strain, and makes the display more readable under various lighting conditions.

Anti-Fingerprint (AF): This coating helps prevent smudges and fingerprints from appearing on the glass, keeping your screen cleaner and clearer.

Antimicrobial: Some protective glass features an antimicrobial coating to reduce bacterial presence on the screen, a feature particularly important in public touchscreens or healthcare environments.

(5) Bulletproof Glass: Bulletproof glass is designed to withstand high impacts without shattering. Glass has different grades or levels indicating how much force it can absorb before breaking.

(5) Thickness Selection: The thickness of the glass affects its strength and weight. Thicker glass typically provides better protection but also makes the device heavier. The choice depends on the device's intended use and design requirements.

(7) Shape Customization:

Curved Glass: Many modern devices use curved glass to achieve a stylish, modern appearance and ergonomic feel.

Rounded edges: These provide a smooth, safe touch experience.

Right angles and irregular shapes: For specific design requirements, cover glass can be cut into various geometric or irregular shapes.

(8) Drilling: These holes completely penetrate the glass and are used for installing components such as camera lenses or buttons.

Transparent holes: These are transparent glass without printed colors, used for aesthetic or functional purposes.

(9) Surface printing: This process applies designs or colors directly to the glass surface. It can be used for branding, instructions, or simply to add a unique touch to the device's appearance.
