Stone polishing sites are filled with dust, intense vibrations, and splashing water. As a result, in such environments, standard touchscreen displays are highly prone to failure—including unresponsive touch, fogged screens, corroded ports, and damage from vibrations. To address this, we have specifically developed an industrial-grade touchscreen display module that has been comprehensively optimized in terms of touch technology, optical display, and structural protection, thereby making it the ideal human-machine interface core for stone polishing machines.
1. Capacitive Touch Technology: Precise Response, Unaffected by Gloves or Water
The module utilizes high-performance capacitive touch technology, deeply calibrated for industrial environments. First, it supports operation with industrial gloves, ensuring precise response even when operators wear thick cut-resistant or dust-proof gloves. Second, it supports multi-touch, allowing users to pinch-to-zoom on process parameter interfaces or swipe to view alarm logs, which significantly improves operational efficiency. Third, it supports operation with wet hands, remaining sensitive and reliable even when the screen is wet or hands are damp, without false triggers. Consequently, these features enable workers to efficiently control the equipment without removing their gloves or wiping the screen dry.
2. High-Brightness Display and Full Lamination: Clearly Visible in Bright Light
Lighting conditions in stone processing workshops are complex, and ordinary screens are prone to glare or insufficient brightness. In contrast, this module achieves a brightness of over 600 nits, remaining clear and sharp even under direct strong light. Moreover, the surface features an AG anti-glare coating that effectively scatters ambient light and reduces mirror-like reflections. Furthermore, full-lamination technology ensures the touch layer and display layer are seamlessly bonded, eliminating air gaps to significantly reduce the likelihood of internal fogging while enhancing contrast and light transmittance. Finally, equipped with an IPS wide-viewing-angle panel, color and brightness remain virtually unchanged when viewed from the side, thus facilitating collaborative monitoring of equipment status by multiple users.
3. Vibration Resistance, Impact Resistance, and Long-Term Stability
Stone polishing machines generate continuous, complex vibrations during operation, and the grinding head experiences momentary impacts when it comes into contact with the stone. This module features an industrial-grade structural design, with reinforced internal components and vibration-resistant construction at critical connection points; it is capable of operating across a wide temperature range, ensuring stable performance in ambient temperatures ranging from -20°C to 70°C.
4. Tempered Glass Surface: Rock-Hard, Easy to Clean, and Corrosion-Resistant
Abrasive dust, water stains, and polishing wax residue are common on-site, so screens are prone to scratches or corrosion. This module utilizes high-hardness tempered glass with a surface hardness of over 6 on the Mohs scale; therefore, wiping away adhered cement or stone particles is unlikely to cause scratches. In addition, the seamless, flat surface ensures a smooth transition between the glass and the frame, preventing dust and liquids from accumulating in hard-to-reach corners. As a result, it is easy to clean—oil, mud, and sludge can be easily wiped away with a damp cloth. Moreover, it is chemically resistant, exhibiting good tolerance to weak acids, weak alkalis, and oily substances.
5. One-piece Adhesive Backing Design: Blocking Dust and Liquids at the Source
The tiny gaps between traditional screen bezels and equipment panels allow dust to gradually seep inside, eventually leading to poor heat dissipation, short circuits, or dimming of the backlight. By contrast, this module uses a one-piece, high-adhesive industrial backing that fully bonds the module edges to the mounting panel, creating a physical barrier that completely blocks fine stone particles, cement dust, and liquids from penetrating the equipment.
6. Flexible Customization: Adaptable to Various Polishing Machine Structures
Different models of stone polishing machines—such as handheld, bridge-type, and continuous grinders—may require different dimensions or installation methods. For this reason, we offer flexible customization: we can tailor the aspect ratio and create custom-shaped cutouts based on the equipment's reserved openings.
Applying this module to stone polishing machines delivers significant benefits. Specifically, it reduces after-sales failure rates, as the dustproof, waterproof, and vibration-resistant design significantly minimizes screen damage. Furthermore, it enhances operational efficiency and safety: glove-compatible touch, high-brightness visibility, and wet-hand operation allow workers to control the machine precisely without removing gloves or wiping the screen. In addition, it extends equipment lifespan, as the robust structure ensures the display module’s lifespan matches that of the host machine. It also simplifies cleaning and maintenance, since the smooth, easy-to-clean surface requires no special tools. Finally, it enhances overall equipment value: a professional industrial-grade solution elevates the polisher's image as a smart machine, helping equipment manufacturers stand out in competitive bidding.
