Anti-electromagnetic interference capacitive touch screen
Electromagnetic resistance (EMl) is interference with normal data transmission due to leakage of magnetic field. All current conductors generate a magnetic field around their central axis. If a metal conductor passes through this magnetic field, an electric current will be generated in the conductor. Similarly, if a conductor is passed through an electric field, a magnetic field will be generated at the central axis around the conductor. Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) refers to the degradation of device performance after interference and interference sources.
In aviation and Marine equipment, where electromagnetic interference resistance is often required, touch screens for such items often require custom adjustments to eliminate erroneous touch events that occur during electromagnetic contact. In these applications, cover, film enhancement, or optical fitting processes may also be required to improve touch sensitivity and accuracy.
